The Tech Opportunities Program (TOP), a Student Support Services program, at Oregon Tech is seeking a TriO Director to manage the strategic development, implementation, and execution of student support services for first-generation, low-income, and students with disabilities who demonstrate an academic need. The mission of TOP is to significantly increase students’ achievement, retention and graduation rates.
The Director will be responsible for implementing the program's Plan of Operation, monitoring its performance, and ensuring compliance with federal grant requirements and regulations. They will work closely with Disability Services (DS), Career Services, and other campus departments to provide information and outreach.
Duties include the following:
Implement the program’s Plan of Operation and monitor its performance as stated in the grant.
Ensure compliance with federal grant requirements and regulations.
Evaluate the program and modify services to enhance its effectiveness and efficiency.
Uphold ethical and legal standards, including the maintenance of confidential student records and adherence to grant regulations.
Provide training and consultation for university students, faculty, and staff on matters related to support services and retention of underrepresented students.
