Anticipated Starting Salary: $41,100 - $46,800

Minimum Degree/Experience: Bachelor's in education, counseling, STEM discipline, social work or related field + 1 year related experience

The Coordinator has the responsibility for implementation and support for the TRIO UBMS program. Through working directly with students, families, staff and community partners, the Coordinator creates a pathway to college and promotes college readiness through curriculum and special programming, especially focusing on STEM education. Additionally, the Coordinator plans, organizes and presents group workshops and events; teaches UBMS advisory courses; plans and supervises tutoring and participants' attendance at cultural events; and assists with the recruitment, selection, advising, mentoring and retention process for all participants. This position is located in Alameda International Jr/Sr High School and will involve a significant amount of relationship building, independent and collaborative work with the high school, Mines and external partners. The UBMS Coordinator reports directly to the Director of UBMS.
